Publish or Perish: How to write and submit a scientific manuscript

The workshop will draw on the expertise in academic publishing of the Editors of the Journal of the International AIDS Society (JIAS). It aims to build skills in scientific writing and provides practical information to support new- and early-career HIV researchers, as well as more experienced researchers, in successfully writing a scientific manuscript. By the end of the presentation, participants will know the key components of manuscript writing, how to correctly write each section, and how to avoid common pitfalls that result in the rejection of a manuscript.
