What inspires you to work in the HIV field?

HIV is a chronic pathology, and I am happy to accompany people who are in despair or want to give up everything because they are living with HIV. I work to support all people living with HIV to help them better cope with the condition and to have self-esteem and a desire to live, like everyone else. It is important to conduct research in the field of treatment to obtain a cure or even a vaccine.

What are your goals as an IAS change maker?

My goals are:

  • To bring experiences and acquire skills from other countries
  • To exchange scientific information on the progress of paediatric HIV care
  • To get to know colleagues from other countries for good collaboration in the field of HIV and research
